The Red white and Blue
As a military family the 4th of July is important to my family and myself. That is why patriotic minis I am a little extra excited for. Usually I do a model call for the promotional add whenever I have mini sessions. But not for these. This time I wanted to use my son. Many people think that because I am a photographer that I have "so many great photos of my kids". Well think again lol. My kids are just like any other. They're extra stinky when it comes to mom. Usually it is

My very own little lumberjack
See this little chunk? He's my little chunk. This is Emmett, my youngest son. As a cake smash photographer I see so many themes. I started planning Emmett's cake smash session when he was about six months old. I went though many themes before I decided on one. So, so, so many themes! I thought I was set in stone on a Candy Land theme, but then about 2 weeks before I did his session I decided on Lumberjack. Not sure why, but the theme was just calling to me. Honestly I think

They look like out of a magazine
This is the Hughes family. Kristi took advantage of the Fall mini photo sessions I have yearly and booked a family photoshoot at Northwest Community Park. When they first showed up I was in awe with not only how good looking the entire family is, but with how well their outfits were coordinated. Kristi did an amazing job putting everything together. Not going to lie, sometimes family photoshoots can be a little hectic with multiple children. Especially younger children. This

She was an angel!
Baby girl Lliana came to my studio when she was 10 days old for her newborn photoshoot. Due to her mama having another appointment I knew I wouldn't have as much time to work with and pose her so I was praying she was going to be very sleepy so that I could pose her easily and in a timely manner. With such relief Lliana was an angel! She was so sleepy her entire session and let me mold an pose her any which way I wanted. Her mama really wanted to make sure that we got family

Happy Fall
The Leschisin Family is one of the great families who booked a fall mini photography session with me. It was chilly and breezy on the day go the photoshoot, but they toughed it out like champs! I first met this wonderful family when Allyssa was pregnant with baby Clark for her maternity photos last year. Since then I have now done 4 photoshoots for the Leschisins. They are so kind and easy going and I have loved watching Clark grow through his first year and accomplish all of

Baby Dax
When baby Dax came to visit me in my home studio for his newborn photo session he was 8 days new and oh so tiny at 5 lbs 12oz. It was a huge difference from the 10 lb newborn I had in my studio the week prior. Thats what I love about newborns and babies in general, they're all different and no two are the same (even twins). Dax was an AMAZING newborn to work with! He barely fussed one tiny bit, only ate once, and had the baby fingers that newborn photographers dream of. Belie

Goofy is the best way to describe it.
After doing Crystal's maternity photo session a few months ago (which she ROCKED), she took advantage of an in studio special I was offering to promote my new photography studio, and I had the pleasure to photograph all three of her boys. Her boys are ages 5, 2, and 2 months so being a boy mom myself I know the session was going to be anything but boring. Well as the title stats, goofy is the best way to describe it. There were smiles, some tears, but mostly a ton of sillines

The most beautiful thing a women can wear is confidence
Typically at the beginning of every boudoir session my clients are shy and nervous. I mean, who wouldn't be when you're standing in your underwear in front of a stranger (kinda opposite from the whole imagine everyone in their underwear saying to make you feel comfortable lol). That definitely wasn't the case with the lovely Emily. She showed up to my studio glowing with confidence, and I LOVED it! Don't get we wrong, my favorite part of boudoir photography is to show every w
